NINE cars were damaged by vandals in Witney last night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to attacks on five vehicles in Oxford Hill, and surrounding roads, which they believe are linked.
The windows of a burgundy Vauxhall Corsa were smashed and an attempt was made to steal the car.
The passenger window of a blue Toyota MR2 Roadstar was smashed. The steering wheel lock was also damaged on a green Austin Metro.
Meanwhile, two windows were smashed a silver Vauxhall Astra and a window was smashed on a black Seat Leon and a wallet was stolen from inside.
Windows were smashed and attempts made to steal a white Vauxhall Nova and gold Vauxhall Vectra, both parked in Wadard’s Meadow.
Windows were also smashed on a red Vauxhall Astra, in Eton Close, and a Vauxhall Vectra, in Blake Avenue.
