Councillors have tonight voted against plans to build another Tesco store in Oxford.
The supermarket giant submitted plans to build an Express store on the site of the boarded-up Friar pub in Marston Road, Marston.
But at the North East Area Committee meeting, at New Marston Primary School, in Copse Lane, councillors voted against the scheme.
They decided the store could have an impact on neighbouring properties and pose traffic problems.
