As the good weather draws near, many people want to be out and about enjoying themselves.
So it is only right to inform Oxfordshire residents and tourists that I’ve received some good feedback regarding the splendid repair work done on the River Thames towpath.
Having been alerted to unsafe areas of towpath from Donnington Bridge to Grandpont, it was necessary to go on a site visit with county council officers to assess damage and address the problems.
Well done to all team workers for these repairs.
OLIVE McINTOSH-STEDMAN, Oxfordshire county councillor and Littlemore parish councillor
