A GANG raided a jeweller's shop in Banbury today.
Police are appealing for witnesses after robbers burst into Michael Jones jewellers, in High Street, at about noon.
They smashed glass display cabinets and stole watches before fleeing in a green Volkswagen Golf.
Insp Helen Roberts said: “It's lucky that no-one was injured or threatened but we're still taking this incident very seriously.
“The car has been found abandoned in Merton Street. I urge anyone who may have seen these people in the area this morning, before or after the robbery occurred, or when they left the car, to get in touch.”
