Another year, another battle with the budgets at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust budget.
This time round we learn as many as 366 jobs are under threat as the trust battles to save a staggering £44m.
The figures have emerged as the trust tries to make efficiency savings — and it admitted that £11m was likely to be shaved off its “staff pay bill”.
While this must be a nervous times for nurses, doctors and consultants imagine what the patients feel like.
We know the NHS only has a finite amount of money, but one wonders what impact these yearly cuts are having on service delivery.
