Lobster-tossing? You must be as Mad as a Hatter
THE unusual art of lobster-tossing - not real ones -will be among the activities bringing the crazy world of Alice in Wonderland to life at a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in Oxford next month.
The annual party, now in its fifth year, is in Dawson Street, off Cowley Road, on Bank Holiday Monday, May 4.
Attractions include tea served by the Mad Hatter, above, and friends, music, storytelling and an auction of goods donated by local businesses.
Prizes will be on offer for the maddest hat and best costumes.
Money raised will go towards the Sumatran Orangutan Society, an Oxford charity working to preserve the animal’s natural habitat.
