BRITAIN’S Got Talent sensation Fabia Cerra hopes she is striking a blow against anorexia and making women feel more comfortable about themselves.

The curvaceous size 18-20 burlesque dancer, who wowed judges on the ITV show at the weekend with her tassle-twirling routine, said she hoped her antics would help bigger women improve their body image.

She spoke out as her sister gave her full backing over the sensational striptease.

Miss Cerra, 35, from Centuary Place, Greater Leys, Oxford, said: “I am on a mission – and not just to prove I can shake my booty. I am going out there for all these big beautiful women.

“You can be sexy and big.

“I want to give them back all their confidence and stop them turning to anorexia.”

Miss Cerra has battled bipolar depression, a troubled upbringing, and has dabbled with drugs during her eventful life.

And she paid tribute to her sister, Lorenza El-Kority, saying she and herwere so close they were like twins.

Mother-of-one Miss Cerra, 35, said: “Lorenza has always looked out for me.

“She knew how ill I was and visited me in hospital all the time.

“Your family and your friends keep you grounded.”

Miss El-Kority, 33, from Weirs Lane, New Hinksey, Oxford, was in the audience for Miss Cerra’s performance, which was recorded in Birmingham last year.

The performance, in front of a packed crowd and celebrity judges Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell, was seen by almost 12 million viewers.

Miss El-Kority said: “I was so proud of her. I am praying she gets to the final. I hope the judges see her the way I see her.”

Former disco dancing champion Miss Cerra has spent the last few days taking phone calls from the national media, as well as looking after her son.

She is also in training for her next performance – for which she has bought new nipple tassles.

Miss Cerra said neighbours had congratulated her on the performance. She added: “They can’t believe what I have done. They said I have got guts.”

Miss Cerra is waiting on a phone call from Britain’s Got Talent to hear when she will next need to audition.
