RUNNERS for this year’s Oxford Mail OX5 Run who have not received their race numbers can pick them up on the day of the race.
The five-mile run around the grounds of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, starts at 10.30am on Sunday.
It is the seventh year of the race, which has raised up to £50,000 each year for the Oxford Children’s Hospital.
Witney MP and Conservative Party leader David Cameron is taking part in this year’s run.
Hospital spokesman Cynthia Charlett said: “The majority of runners have been sent their race numbers through the post, but there have been problems with the post in recent years, so in the week before the race we don’t send race numbers out, in case they don’t arrive in time.
“Runners who have not been sent the numbers have been sent an email reminding them to pick them up on the day of the race.”
This year’s race is sponsored by Oxford-based recruitment firm Allen Associates and Motorworld.
A number of firms will be competing for the OX5 Cup, which is awarded to the team with the lowest aggregate time of its top five finishers.
Eynsham’s Siemens Magnet Technology won the trophy in 2008 and will be defending the cup.
The children's hospital opened next to the John Radcliffe Hospital in 2007, following a community fundraising campaign which raised £14m.
You can still enter the race on the day for £12.50 by registering between 8.30am and 9.45am.
