Police today renewed an appeal for help in tracing a missing man from Benson.
Alan Douglas, 59, was last seen at his address in Littleworth Road on Thursday evening.
He is white, between 5ft 10in and 5ft 11in tall, medium build with short cropped grey hair and brown eyes. He wears silver rimmed spectacles and was last seen wearing a black hooded waterproof jacket and dark bottoms.
Det Insp Kevin Elkins said: “We have carried out extensive enquiries to try and establish Mr Douglas’ whereabouts. Police officers and the helicopter have searched areas surrounding Benson but nobody has seen him or knows of his whereabouts.
“Have you seen a man matching his description?
“Did you see a man walking in Benson late on Thursday evening?
“If you have any information please contact police immediately.”
