WHILE trying to obey lawful, though illogical and irrational, road speed limits, I am irritated by the potentially dangerous idiots who tailgate me, when I’m slowing down to enter 30mph zones like the Marston approach to the Green Road roundabout.

What is it going to be like if the council ignores the majority of city taxpayers, in implementing the ridiculous city-wide 20mph speed limit proposal?

Road rage would increase, and the differential between motorists and motorcyclists’ speeds would increase because many bikers won’t take any more notice of speed limits than they do now – something that will only change if police take this seriously.

If you think I’m wrong, ask yourself when you last saw the police stopping a biker.
