Benjamin Kapala, 22, of Oxford Masonic Centre, Banbury Road, admitted stealing a £135 TV/DVD player from Borders in Oxford on March 10. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, and ordered to pay £60 costs.
Ricky Tremlett, 18, of Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, admitted possession of cocaine and cannabis in Oxford on March 11. Fined £125, ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Gary Sellwood, 21, of Magdalen Road, Oxford, admitted vehicle interference on October 22 in Oxford. Given a community order to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £103.25 compensation and £43 costs.
Mark Durham, 33, of Barns Road, Cowley, Oxford, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Oxford on December 13. Also admitted assault by beating in Oxford on December 13. Jailed for 84 days.
Dane Simmonds, 18, of Cedar Road, Botley, Oxford, admitted assault in Botley on September 14. Given a community order to attend appointments with a responsible officer for 12 months. Ordered to pay £150 compensation and £50 costs.
Jason Browne, 42, of Peat Moors, Headington, Oxford, admitted stealing food worth £18 from Marks & Spencer in Oxford on February 24, a pair of £65 shoes from Blacks, Oxford, on January 28, and a fleece jacket worth £69.99 from Blacks on February 20. Ordered to pay total of £152 compensation, and given a three-month suspended prison sentence.
Michael Roberts, 29, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a bottle of Martini and a packet of egg bites to the value of £9.08, from Sainsbury’s Oxford on March 2. Fined £50, ordered to pay £70 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge. Also admitted failing to surrender to court on March 12 in Oxford. Fined £20. Also admitted commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Also admitted travelling on a train between Ashford, Kent, and Victoria without paying fare on November 11. Fined £50.
Kevin Pullen, 48, of Park Side, Cuddesdon, admitted drink-driving on Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford, on February 6. Found to have 114 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £145, ordered to pay £70 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Daniel Jones, 38, of James Street, Oxford, admitted harassment without violence in Oxford between January 13 and 15. Placed under a restraining order until March 22, 2010, ordered to pay £290 compensation, and £50 costs.
Mark Thomas, 38, of Sandy Lane, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted stealing a package containing coffee worth £35 on January 13. Fined £50, ordered to pay £35 compensation and a victim’s surcharge of £15.
Kristy Scotland, 20, of Swift Close, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with a magistrates’ court community order. Order varied, curfew extended by seven days from May 20, and ordered to pay £55 costs.
Daniel Hemmings, 31, of Hunter Close, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with a magistrates’ court community order made on September 4, 2008. Order varied, residency requirement added for six months. Ordered to pay £50 costs.
Martin Mcpherson-Pottle, 41, of Gladstone Road, Oxford, admitted criminal damage valued at under £5,000 between January 9 and 10 in Oxford. Conditionally discharged for four months, ordered to pay £60 compensation and £50 costs.
Steffon Wood, 21, of Normandy Crescent, Oxford, admitted using violence to secure entry to a property, on February 28 in Oxford. Also admitted harassment without violence on or before February 28, in Oxford. Committed to a Young Offenders’ Institution for 12 weeks.
Oscar Anderson, 29, of Laburnham Grove, Didcot, admitted possessing heroin on March 26, in Didcot. Fined £300, ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Richard Evans, 22, of Marlborough Gardens, Faringdon, admitted failing to comply with the community requirements of a suspended sentence made on November 26. Order varied, curfew requirement for one month added, and ordered to pay £50 costs.
Ricky Wilkinson, 19, of Hampden Avenue, Thame, admitted stealing a bike worth £500 on September 25, at Thame, Given eight-week suspended prison sentence.
Bulelani Mfingwana, 31, of Glyme Drive, Berinsfield, admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence on March 9 in St Nicholas Road, Wallingford. Ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge. Also admitted having no insurance. Banned for nine months, and fined £230. Also admitted failing to stop. Fined £115.
David Raine, 67, of Dashwood House, Middle Barton, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath on March 8, in Abingdon. Banned from driving for 24 months, fined £100, ordered to pay £25 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Jonathon Skuse, 22, of Mill Street, Wantage, admitted drink-driving with 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on the A338 in Grove on March 8. Banned for 20 months, fined £495, with £60 costs, and £15 victim’s surcharge.
John Woods, 25, of Tower Close, Abingdon, admitted possession of cannabis on March 3 in Abingdon. Fined £80, with £40 costs and £15 victim’s surcharge.
Kerry Turnbull, 33, of The Park, Harwell, admitted assault in Abingdon on March 28. Also found guilty of assault in Abingdon on March 28. Ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid work and pay £250 compensation.
Charles Billington, 56, of Bridge Street, Banbury, admitted carrying passengers in a trailer on September 12 in Botley Road, Oxford. Fined £50, with £15 victim’s surcharge. Also admitted having no MOT. Fined £20.
