The Duke of York will visit BMW’s Mini Plant in Cowley next week.

HRH Prince Andrew will tour the car manufacturer’s plant on Thursday in his role as the UK’s special representative for international trade and investment.

He will inspect production areas and meet apprentices and the plant’s directors.

The plant’s managing director Dr Jurgen Hedrich said: “We are delighted that the Duke of York will be coming to the plant.

”We’re really proud to be part of his visit to Oxfordshire.”
