A teenager killed in a car crash on the A34 has been named as Oxford schoolgirl Grace Hadman.
The 17-year-old, who boarded at St Edward’s School, in Woodstock Road, died when the Toyota Yaris in which she was a passenger crashed near Wytham in the early hours of Tuesday.
Her parents today released a tribute to their daughter.
They said: “This is the hardest thing we will ever have to do. Our beautiful daughter and precious sister Grace died in a car crash on Tuesday 7th of April and we can hardly manage without her.
“To us, she was the most perfect girl – thoughtful, kind, knowing, sensible, bubbly, happy, endlessly smiling, loving, and giving - so very beautiful inside and out. We cannot begin to describe how much we love her or pay tribute enough to her.”
An 18-year-old man remains in a critical condition at hospital and a 17-year-old girl suffered minor injuries.
A 17-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drink or drugs has been released on bail until July 1.
