Two people were taken to hospital after their car crashed into a ditch on Oxford’s ring road during the early hours today.
The accident happened on the A40 northern bypass between the Marston turn and the Green Road roundabout, shortly before 1am.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said two casualties were taken to hospital but could not provide further information about their injuries.
Police closed the road while the emergency services dealt with the incident and the route has now reopened.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire Fire Service said fire crews were not asked to attend the crash.
