A woman was injured after an intruder tried to get into her home in Longworth Close, Banbury.
At about 11.15pm on Thursday, a woman opened the door of her apartment to an unknown visitor, who then tried to force their way in.
The woman tried to resist by forcing the door closed, but the offender managed to push their arm through, at which point the victim felt a scratch to her arm. The offender then ran off.
The woman sustained a two-inch cut to her right forearm, but no knife was seen.
