Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Drayton St Leonard.
Between 8.30am and 1.30pm on Monday, offenders broke into a house in High Street, and stole items including a laptop, jewellery and an iPod.
PC Emma Wright said: “It is believed the offender put the items in a bag that was also taken from the house. The bag is white with ‘Clownfish Club Hamilton Island’ written on it in red.
“I appeal to anyone who may have seen a blue or green car, possibly a Toyota Carina, in the area to contact police immediately. It is believed the car drove off in the direction of Stadhampton, and that a mixed race man was driving the car.
“A man was also seen in the village acting suspiciously; he is white, around 5ft 9ins, skinny to medium build and aged between 22 and 26 years old. He has black mid-length curly hair and a moustache.
“Did you see a man of this description carrying a bag?
“Did you see a car of this description in the village?
“Did you see the car pick up the suspect?”
Anyone with information is urged to contact PC Wright via Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police and don’t want to leave your name contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
