Police are searching for three men after robbers slashed a woman across the face with a knife and battered a man over the head with a gun during a household raid.
Shortly before 11pm last night, the men, two carrying knives and the other a gun, forced their way into a house in Crabtree Road, off Westminster Way, Botley, Oxford, and demanded money from a safe.
The safe was empty, and the masked robbers left when the woman escaped and raised the alarm.
The 42-year-old woman sustained a facial injury and the 49-year-old man a head wound.
