COLOURFUL sea creatures are brightening up a primary school in Kidlington.
Parents have painted a giant mural on the wall of the nursery at St Thomas More Primary School.
Nursery teacher Juliet Lamb said the scene was painted over a three-month period by three parents, Tammy Bowman, Sally Barber and Mary Dennett, from Kidlington.
She said: “One of our parents is an art teacher at another school and she has always been very keen to brighten up the wall because it wasn’t very lively. Now it looks fantastic, really good. The children love it – it’s bright and beautiful.”
Four-year-old Isabella Gillot added: “It’s got mermaids and starfish. Mermaids are my favourite.”
