Forty two drivers were caught speeding during an operation by police this morning, in Langford Lane, Kidlington, from 8am to 10am.
During the check, 22 speeding drivers were stopped and given roadside education by road safety officers.
Twenty other motorists were issued with £60 fines and will have their licences endorsed with three penalty points.
The highest speed recorded was 47mph in the 30mph zone.
