WORLD writers with fascinating international experiences to share have long been a important strand of the festival.
This year Nigerian award-winning writers Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (Purple Hibiscus and Half of a Yellow Sun) and Ben Okri (The Famished Road) head a talented and interesting mix of authors.
Yaba Badoe, Rounke Coker, and Uchenna Izundu together with Becky Ayebia Clarke will examine the African family and its cultural traditions.
Fourteen published authors and refugees from Asylum Welcome who have worked collaboratively will present their writings.
And a panel of four writers, whose work is published in One World: A Global Anthology of Short Stories, will discuss their work, which samples the intensity of the human experience around the planet.
