Ed Argur (Oxford Mail letters March 21) is wide of the mark.
Headington Hill and Northway is a local city council election.
Anyone who votes Tory risks the return of a Liberal Democrat-run council, with financial chaos and closed playgrounds.
Labour’s candidate, Roy Darke, is an experienced councillor and local resident. Only Labour will invest in Northway community centre, tackle crime with CCTV and campaign for better facilities for young people.
Everyone who has a vote on Thursday should use it.
The choice is between a well-run Labour city with cleaner streets and better play areas or a return to Lib Dem muddle. The result matters for all of us in Oxford.
John Tanner, Councillor, Labour Party, Oxford City Council
