A cyclist was dragged along the road by a car passenger who tried to snatch her bag.
Police today appealed for information to the attempted robbery on Temple Road, in Cowley, Oxford, at around 9.15pm on Tuesday.
A man leant out of the window of a small red car and tried to grab a cyclist’s bag.
She did not let go of the bag and was dragged along the road for a short distance, suffering cuts and bruises on her legs. She managed to keep her bag.
The make and model of the car involved is not known but the man is believed to be white, in his 20s, of skinny build with a thin oval face and very short blond hair.
He was seen wearing a black and white top.
