A cyclist was dragged along an Oxford road by a passenger in a car who tried to steal her bag.
Police today appealed for information about the attempted robbery in Temple Road, Cowley, at about 9.15pm on Tuesday.
A man leaned out of the window of a small red car and tried to grab the cyclist’s bag.
She did not let go and was dragged along the road for a short distance, suffering cuts and bruises on her legs. She managed to keep her bag.
The make and model of the car involved is not known but the man in the car is believed to be white, in his 20s, of skinny build with a thin oval face and very short blond hair.
He was wearing a black and white top.
