Sir – A really big thank you to the hundreds of people who took part in the fantastic Oxclean (Report, March 12) which was even better than last year.
The Oxford Civic Society and The Oxford Times encouraged us all to clean up our neighbourhood and got a fantastic response.
From Marston to Littlemore, Hinksey Park to the Trap Grounds, and across the city, local residents did their bit to make Oxford tidier. Having a clean city is not just a job for the city council. It’s a job for all of us and Oxclean 2009 was an absolute triumph.
