A Witney pub is back open and serving its regulars after it was forced to close following a fire in February.
Drinkers in the Plough, in High Street, had to evacuate the pub when the fire started in a tumble dryer and spread to the roof.
The pub had previously been closed for eight months after it was one of the many properties to be affected by the 2007 summer floods.
However, landlords Rob O’Connell and Guy Ripley have worked hard to get the pub reopened and are now back in business.
Mr O’Connell said: “It’s great to be open again and I would just like to thank all of our regulars for all of their support.
“They have been absolutely brilliant. What with the flood and now the roof, they have really kept us going.”
Mr O’Connell said it was back to “business as usual” and that people could still enjoy their favourite beers and good food.
He added that although scaffolding would be up for a few months yet, while roof repairs were finished, the pub was back to normal inside.
