Two men have been charged with GBH with intent in connection with an incident in Banbury Market Square on Saturday.
Shaban Alia, 43, of Winter Gardens Way, Banbury, and Ilir Sheta, 29, of Wood End, Banbury, have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Oxford Crown Court tomorrow.
The 22-year-old victim, who suffered spinal injuries, remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
