FOUR men forced their way inside a house in Oxford and stole electrical items.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the aggravated burglary in Waynflete Road, Headington, between 5.20 and 5.30pm on Saturday.

Two of the men are described as black and the other two are white. All four were wearing bandanas.

They left the house and drove off in a new-style dark coloured Peugeot.

Det Sgt Roger Lamboll said: “Although I would like to reassure residents that this is an isolated incident I need anyone who witnessed anything suspicious to contact me.

“Were you in the area and did you see four men in a dark coloured car?

“Luckily no one was injured but this is a distressing incident and the two occupants, a man and a woman, have been left shaken.”
