ABOUT 150 people enjoyed Oxfordshire’s first Holi Festival at the weekend.
People of all faiths visited the Lake Street Community Centre in South Oxford for the festival — one of the main events in the Hindu calendar.
On Saturday, families enjoyed a variety of attractions, including Hindu dancing and sari draping.
Kashmira Patel, of the Oxford Hindu Temple and Community Centre Project, said the event had been a big success.
She added: “We would love to hold another one next year — an even bigger event.”
