Police are investigating a suspected arson attack on an Oxford University college.
Fire crews were called to deal with a small fire in a rubbish bin in the basement of Hertford college in Catte Street at 4.49pm.
Three engines were dispatched and the fire was out by 6.30pm.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire fire and rescue service said arson was suspected and said police had been informed.
