NORTH LEIGH: Children from the village primary school caught the energy efficiency bug when they received a visit from Southern Electric’s schools’ liaison officer, Jennifer Kelly, and colleague Rob Pritchard.
They talked to students about ways to be more energy efficient at home, and in school, during an assembly.
Headteacher Clare Morgan said: “It was a great assembly and the children went away talking about all the extra ways they can save energy in their homes.”
The village is running an energy efficiency project to try to cut its carbon footprint.
