Firefighters were called this morning to tackle a fire in a wine shop.
At 7.13am firefighters went to the Threshers Wine shop, in Burford Road, to tackle the blaze which is believed to have started accidentally in the bottom floor of the two storey building.
Once the fire was extinguished the crews from Bampton, Burford, Oxford city, and Witney worked to clear the heavily smokelogged flat above the shop.
The cause of the fire is thought to have been an accident.
