I would like to thank all the Oxford United fans who attended the Torquay match on Saturday, for their generous support for new Oxfordshire charity, SpecialEffect.
A total of £540 was collected for the appeal to create a computer games suite at Helen and Douglas House hospice in Oxford.
SpecialEffect is a charity dedicated to helping all young people with disabilities enjoy computer games.
For these children, the majority of computer games are simply too quick or difficult to play. But we can help them and their parents find out which games they can play, and how to adapt those games that they can’t.
The SpecialEffect games suite project and our award winning roadshows for disabled young people are central to the charity.
