Police this evening renewed an appeal for witnesses after a fire at a house in Wood Street, Wallingford.
The blaze happened between 6am and 6.15am on February 26.
Det Con Stephen Knight said: “We are still in the early stages of our investigation and are working closely with the fire service.
“Luckily, no one was injured in the fire. I urge anyone who might have seen any suspicious activity in Wood Street and the surrounding area, to contact me.
“On February 18, in St Martin’s Street somebody set a pile of rubbish on fire between 6am and 6.15am. Although these incidents might not be connected, we are keeping an open mind and would appeal to anyone who might have any information about either of these to get in touch.”
Anyone with information which could help the investigation should contact Det Con Knight at Didcot police station via 0845 8 505 505, or, if you don’t want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
