Police today appealed for witnesses to a road traffic collision in which an elderly woman cyclist suffered head injuries.
At about 9.15am on Wednesday, a 70-year-old woman was cycling along Wharton Road, Headington, Oxford, towards Margaret Road when she was in collision with the door of a blue Nissan.
The collision left the victim needing hospital treatment for a non-life threatening head injury.
