A teenager suffered multiple stab wounds after three men kicked down his front door during a raid in the early hours of this morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the attack in Acacia Avenue, in Blackbird Leys, Oxford, at 1.20am.
A 19-year-old man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with stab wounds where his condition was described as serious, but not life-theatening.
It is believed the attackers made off in two cars.
One is described as blue, the other is silver.
Det Insp Simon Morton, investigating the incident, said: “We believe this was a targeted attack.”
Five men, aged between 18 and 21-years-old have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and grievous bodily harm and are currently being held in police custody.
