House prices in Oxfordshire fell by 0.8 per cent last month, according to the latest official figures.
The Land Registry statistics showed the average price of a property in the county currently stands at £224,113, compared to £225,808 in December.
It means property values have fallen by 11.4 per cent in the past year — in January 2008 the average price of a home was £253,050.
Nationally, the average property price stands at £156,753, down 0.8 per cent in the past month and 15.1 per cent over the year.
