Police have appealed for help in identifying a woman who went missing from the Warneford Hospital, Oxford, last Friday.
She was initially picked up by police in Aylesbury town centre before being transferred to Oxford.
The woman is described as being in her late 20s or early 30s, with ginger hair tied back in a ponytail and of heavy build.
She was wearing blue jeans, a blue fleece and a dark T-shirt. Officers believe she may have been homeless prior to being picked up by them.
When asked what her name is, she gave the name ‘Terri Woods’, but officers are unsure whether this is correct and a spokesman said she was otherwise unresponsive when spoken to by police.
PC Denise Trafford, missing persons co-ordinator for Oxfordshire, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has seen this woman, or who can provide us with a positive identification for her.
“We are currently unsure of where she is from, and although we believe she may have links to the Aylesbury area, we have no further clues as to her background.”
Anyone with information should call PC Trafford on the Police Enquiry Centre number 0845 8 505 505.
