WESTON ON THE GREEN: Dudley Osborn, owner of the Weston Manor Hotel, has been elected chairman of the national executive of the British Hospitality Association.
Mr Osborn, who has been a member of the national executive for more than ten years, bought the Weston Manor in 1983 after a career which took him to hotels in the UK and Europe.
He said: "The hospitality industry faces the toughest period of trading in a generation and the BHA needs to continue to support the 200,000 businesses throughout the UK that are affected by the recession.
“We will continue to argue the industry's case in Whitehall and elsewhere for the tourism industry to be taken more seriously by government."
