Business leaders in Oxford are being given an insight into how to survive the recession from the world’s largest chief executive membership organisation.
A seminar at the Kassam Stadium on February 24 will provide bosses with a ten point plan to drive their businesses forward.
Advice includes financial planning, examining the worst case scenario and cutting out the ‘fat.’ The free event, which runs from 8am until 10.30am, is aimed at chief executives and managing directors from small to medium sized firms and is hosted by Vistage International which has more than 15,000 members globally.
Tony Price, interim chief executive of Vistage International UK will head up the Oxford seminar.
He said: “Many bosses will not have experienced a recession before and it’s crucial that they prepare their businesses to survive the tough times. "Remaining positive and practical as well as maintaining an ongoing dialogue with clients, suppliers, funders, staff and partners are vital in riding the storm.”
