Can I ask motorists why they drive in the city with their parking lights on? Why don’t they turn their headlights on? All they have to do is flick a switch.
As a cyclist and a motorist I cannot see any advantage. But there is a disadvantage, as it means they are hard to see.
Also, has anyone observed the amount of vehicles being driven with one failed bulb? I counted eight on my way to work, which is a distance of three miles.
