Pupils in Didcot had a lucky day on Friday 13th with a special visit from Olympic medallist Jamie Baulch.
Students in Years Seven and Eight at Didcot Girls’ School met and talked with the sprinter.
The 35-year-old Briton has competed in the 400m and the 4x100m relay for more than 10 years.
He won gold at the European Championships and the World Indoor Championships and silver in both the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
He said: “It has been an honour to meet so many talented girls and their teachers.”
During his morning visit, pupils were able to get his autograph and have their picture taken with him.
The schoolgirls enjoyed a series of small exercise competitions including sit ups, press ups and star jumps.
Sara Gill, a Year Seven pupil, said: “The activities were quite hard, but I really enjoyed them.”
