Sisters Beatrice, seven, and Martha Jacobs, three, were among more than 500 flower fans who flocked to Waterperry Gardens, near Wheatley, over the weekend to enjoy the spectacular seasonal display of snowdrops, The gardens opened under the National Gardens Scheme, to raise money for charity.
The sisters’ father Robert Jacobs, the site’s horticultural manager, said: “This weekend was marking the beginning of a two-week period where the snowdrops will be at their best.”
