Oxford Lord Mayor Susanna Pressel was unveiling the controversial Anthony Gormley statue of a naked man in Broad Street today.
The 7ft iron statue was being lifted on to the top of Blackwell's Art and Poster shop on behalf of Exeter College at 9am — without planning permission.
Anthony Gormley’s other work includes the iconic Angel of the North statue in Gateshead.
