A list of the people convicted of offences at magistrates' courts around the county recently:
Oxford:
Jamie Harvey, 20, of Great Western Drive, Didcot, admitted travelling on a railway without paying a fare at or near Didcot parkway on October 7. Fined £50, ordered to pay £50 costs, compensation of £3.10, and a victim’s surcharge of £15.
Dane Sheridan, 24, of Newbury Street, Wantage, admitted travelling on a railway without paying a fare at or near Didcot on October 4. Fined £100, ordered to pay £120 compansation and £15 victim’s surcharge.
David Kibirige, 30, of Town Furze, Headington, admitted drink driving on the A40 at the Green roundabout, Oxford, on December 31. Found to have 105 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £100, ordered to pay £60 costs and a victim’s surcharge of £15.
Ajonga Ouma, 26, of Malford Road, Headington, admitted possessing an offensive weapon, namely a metal weightlifting bar, in Malford Road, Barton, on December 26. Placed under supervision for nine months, ordered to attend an Employment, Training, Education Additional Requirement course, and ordered to pay £60 costs.
James Bisson, 20, of Sage Walk, Greater Leys, admitted failing to comply with a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 18, on November 27 and January 5. Order varied, 20 hours’ unpaid work added to the requirement, ordered to pay £25 costs.
Jason Gardner, 19, of Morris Crescent, Cowley, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made on July 14, on January 4. Order varied, 15 hours’ unpaid work added to the requirement, and £50 costs.
Chris Lemonius, 19, of Knights Road, Oxford, admitted stealing clothing to the value of £69.98 from TK Maxx stores in Oxford, on December 9. Placed under a curfew for four months and electrically monitored.
Clifford Manning, 42, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted using £25.56 electricity without authority in Oxford between October 28 and December 12. Fined £100, ordered to pay £25.56 compensation, £60 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Said El-Hosny, 37, of Nowell Road, Rose Hill, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made on May 8, on January 10. Order varied, 10 hours of unpaid work added to the requirement, and ordered to pay £50 costs.
Nathan Woodbridge, 25, of Gordon Woodward Way, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the community requirements of a suspended sentence order made on September 21, by failing to report for supervision to a responsible officer on January 6. Order varied, the operational period of sentence extended by a week. Also ordered to pay £10 costs.
Didcot:
Anthony Begley, 22, of Longfield, Marcham, Abingdon, admitted affray at Abingdon on August 4. Sentenced to three months concurrent, suspended for six months. Ordered to pay £100 compensation, and £75 costs.
Witney:
Stephen Howard, 31, of Stanmore Crescent, Carterton, admitted drink-driving on Bridge Street, Witney, on December 20. Found to have 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Banned from driving for 20 months, fined £290, ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Simon Jackson, 21, of Fettiplace Road, Witney, admitted stealing two packs of Fosters lager to the value of £19.66, from Tesco Express, Witney, on November 7. Fined £100, ordered to pay £19.66 compensation, £60 costs, and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Nicholas Lucey, 35, of Brize Norton road, Minster Lovell, Witney, admitted threatening behaviour at Witney on December 16. Fined £100, ordered to pay £60 costs, and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Banbury:
Edward Wilkowski, 29, of Schofields Way, Bloxham, Banbury, admitted possessing cocaine at Banbury on December 20. Fined £200, ordered to pay £60 costs and £15 victim’s surcharge.
Claire Acreman, 44, of Basset Avenue, Bicester, admitted assault at Bicester on December 22. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, and ordered to pay £50 compensation.
Laura Bateman, 26, of Chepstow Gardens, Banbury, admitted possessing cocaine at Banbury on November 7. Conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £80 costs.
Ben Webber, 28, of Valentia Close, Bletchingdon, admitted stealing five bottles of spirits to the value of £96.60 from Co-op in Kidlington on December 14. Also admitted stealing three bottles of spirits, to the value of £64.47 from Co-op in Kidlington. Conditionally discharged for two years, ordered to pay £64.47, and £40 costs.
Jason White, 19, of Balliol Road, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis at Bicester on December 26. Fined £160, ordered to pay £60 costs, and a victim’s surcharge of £15.
Blane Dransfield, 23, of Ackland Terrace, Marsh Gibbon, near Bicester, admitted stealing a bottle of wine to the value of £3.99, from Somerfield in Bicester, on September 5. Fined £85, ordered to pay £60 costs, and £15 victim’s surcharge. Also admitted failing to surrender to court on September 16. Fined £265.
Liam Prestige, 20, of Sinclair Avenue, Banbury, admitted threatening behaviour at Banbury on December 11. Fined £150, ordered to pay £20 costs, and a £15 victim’s surcharge. Also admitted failing to surrender to court on December 22. Fined £150.
Mark Hitchman, 24, of Ticknell Piece Road, Charlbury, admitted dangerous driving in High Street, Woodstock, on June 5. Also admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence; using a vehicle without third party insurance; failing to answer to court on November 10. Also admitted commission of a further offence while conditionally discharged. Banned from driving for 18 months, placed under supervision for 18 months, ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work within 12 months and ordered to pay £60 costs.
Sean Carter, 21, of Banbury Road, Kidlington, admitted criminal damage to a property valued under £5,000, at Kidlington on November 29. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, ordered to pay £170 compensation and £30 costs.
Wayne O’Connor, 29, South Avenue, Kidlington, admitted using a motor vehicle without third party insurance on Oxford Road, Kidlington on November 9.
Also admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence on November 9. Given six points on licence, fined £100, and £15 victim’s surcharge.
Christopher Russell, 18, of Rochford Gardens, Bicester, found guilty of travelling on a railway without paying fare between Bicester and Banbury on July 31. Fined £350, ordered to pay £105 costs, compensation of £3.30, and £15 victim’s surcharge.
