Thieves stole tools and other items from five parked cars and vans during a spree in west Oxfordshire.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the spate of thefts on Thursday night and the early hours of today.
Tools were stolen from vans in South Lawn, Witney, Back Lane, Eynsham and Beanhill Road, Ducklington.
A satellite navigation cable and windscreen mount were stolen from a silver Vauxhall Omega in Vanner Road, Witney and hub caps were stolen from a car in Waitrose car park, Market Square, also in Witney.
Det Con Craig Kirby, investigating the thefts, said: “I urge people not to leave tools in vans overnight. If anyone was in these areas last night or in the early hours of this morning and witnessed anybody acting suspiciously please contact police immediately.”
