Innovators and entrepreneurs are being invited to a special seminar offering advice on intellectual property and patents.
Run by Oxford Brookes University's business school, it will offer the opportunity to learn first hand from experts about intellectual property, the different types, the pitfalls of ignoring it and owning it, the challenges in exploiting it and its value as a business tool.
Organiser Nigel Bassett-Jones, head of the department of human resource management at Oxford Brookes, said: "This is unique opportunity for local business people to develop an understanding of intellectual property as a strategic business tool as opposed to a legal concept."
The event will take place on March 19 starting at 9.30am. Attendance is free.
To reserve a place contact the business school reception on 01865 485858 or e-mail reception-business@brookes.ac.uk
