The family of a young mother-of-one who was found dead in a house, sparking a murder investigation, have described their heartbreak.
Police launched a murder probe after the body of the 22-year-old woman was discovered by paramedics in a semi-detached house in Synderford Close, Didcot, at about 9am on Monday.
She has been identified as Rosie Williams, the mother of a three-year-old baby girl called Eleanor May.
Today, her relatives said they were heartbroken, and thanked friends and family for their ongoing support.
Ms Williams’ two sisters, Jessica, 26, and Olivia, 17, released a statement. They said: “We are all so heartbroken — it was totally unexpected. We all loved Rosie – she will be sadly missed, she was not only our sister she was also a best friend.
“She looked out for us every second of every day.
“She was a fantastic mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend — she will be missed very much.
“We would also like to thank everybody’s kind messages and support; they are helping us to grieve for our loss.”
Ms Williams also leaves behind two older brothers, Jeffrey and Robert.
Her brother-in-law, Adam Smith, said Ms Williams was unemployed, but had a job interview just days before she was found dead.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned until later this year.
A post-mortem into the cause of her death proved inconclusive.Detectives are now awaiting the result of toxicology reports.
A 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death has been released by police on bail, pending further inquiries, until March 31.
