Fire crews in Oxfordshire are among the best in the UK, according to a new report.
Oxfordshire fire and rescue service retained the maximum emergency response rating for the second year running.
The Audit Commission report also awarded the service the highest possible ‘use of resources’ score, which is an improvement on last year.
John Parry, chief fire officer and director for community safety, said: “We are delighted to be recognised as one of the best fire and rescue services in the country.”
