Two cars collided on the A417 near Wantage this morning after skidding on ice.
The drivers were checked by paramedics for injuries following the collision at West Hendred, shortly after 6am but did not require treatment.
The accident was one of 42 dealt with by South Central Ambulance in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire after midnight due to icy conditions.
There have been 12 crashes in the past two hours.
Flooding on a number of roads across Oxfordshire is also causing problems for drivers trying to get to work. Police have closed several routes.
Ngosi Fakeye, a spokesman for South Central Ambulance, said: “It’s been crazy for our staff since about midnight — they have been extremely busy.
“The accidents were due to ice on the roads. Fortunately, no-one has been seriously hurt.
“Drivers need to slow down in these dangerous driving conditions.”
