Most train and bus services in the county are running normally today, but some are subject to delays due to flooding and snow on rural roads in the Cotswolds.
On the rails, Chiltern Railways has cancelled and altered a number of services from Banbury, Bicester North and Haddenham & Thame Parkway, due to earlier flooding between High Wycombe and London Marylebone.
First Great Western is warning passengers travelling to the West Country that while services are now operating, after earlier flooding problems in Wiltshire, Devon and Somerset, services may still be subject to delays and diversions because of a landslip in the Castle Cary area.
Wrexham & Shropshire and CrossCountry Trains are running normal services. Overnight flooding that prevented CrossCountry services running between Southampton and Bournemouth has been cleared.
On the buses, Oxford Bus Company is operating normal timetables, as is Stagecoach, with three exceptions:
- 59A - is unable to serve Duns Tew and Middle Barton due to snow
- S3 - unable to serve Charlbury, Stonesfield or Fawler due to snow
- S3 - unable to serve Cornish Road, Chipping Norton.
Thames Travel is operating a normal timetable but has warned passengers there may be delays on some of its routes in the south of the county due to flooding on roads.
RH Transport is running a normal service, except on route X8, which is running between Chipping Norton, Churchill, Kingham village and Kingham railway station only, due to snow on the roads between Kingham and the Wychwoods.
